Social
Our social activities provide opportunities for club members to engage with like-minded people in a casual setting, allowing us to develop stronger friendships and networks.
Community
Our community events positively contribute in local, national, and global capacities.
These include fundraising, environmental cleanups, and co-operative events with charities in need.
Professional
Our professional activities help to build the skills of our members, they include leadership and governance training, project management, and mentoring programs.
ABOUT ROTARACT
Wellington Rotaract is a dynamic group of young people aged 18 and above who want to ‘make a difference’ in their community and the world.
Sponsored by Rotary International, Rotaract Clubs are part of a worldwide organization of 250,000 individuals in 11,000 clubs covering 184 countries.
Members engage in a wide range of activities including social, professional, and community events. In the past, these have included quiz nights, leadership training, beach clean-ups, and tree planting.
We have worked with a range of organisations and not-for-profits including Ronald McDonald House, The Women's Refuge, The Wellington Children's Hospital Foundation, HeartKids, The Soup Kitchen, Downtown Community Ministry, and more. We also encourage our members to pitch projects that support causes they are passionate about.
